• Design and layout engineering drawings within Plumbing specialty.
• Complete Plumbing calculations including water supply, storm, and equipment sizes.
• Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution systems, and purified water systems.
• Design gas systems.
• Design and select fire protection systems and equipment
• Piping pressure drop and pump head calculations
• Schedules, Quantity take-off and Details
• Clash Detection and resolution
• Creates and maintains effective working relationships with supervisor, colleagues, clients, visitors and public – at large.
• Excellent Plumbing knowledge and with expertise to AutoCad and Revit.
• Should have worked on US projects
• Should have knowledge of IPC.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable University

This Job specifically involves the following key roles and responsibilities.

• Must understand Submittal Reviews and Procedures in Engineering / Contracting World
• Excellent HVAC knowledge and with expertise in AutoCad and Revit.
• Should have worked on US projects with knowledge of HVAC Design calculations in Trace/HAP
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ensure that the Submittals / Shop Drawings comply with the Plans and Specifications.
• Prepares engineering drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information using BIM/CAD platforms.
• Establish Systems for Bill of Materials / Quantity Take Off for various phases /parts of our projects.
• Duties as assigned by the Mechanical Engineering HVAC discipline lead.
• Uses time and resources efficiently and effectively.
• Creates and maintains effective working relationships with supervisor, colleagues, clients, visitors and public – at large.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable University

Design Engineer shall coordinate with Project Manager and Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings. Expected to be a good team player within the design team, the Design Engineer will:

• Manage major aspects of the electrical design of projects.
• Be responsible to both the Project Manager and the Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer for the organization, production, and quality of work.
• Act as Electrical Lead/Sub-lead, depending on the scope of the project.
• Coordinate design efforts with all other groups, and maintain project records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
• Prepare and participate in design reviews.
• Design of Low Voltage Switchboards and LV sub-mains cabling, distribution and Containment
• Design of Power distribution to mechanical and public health equipment
• Design of Earthing and bonding installations
• Design of Lightning protection, Lighting, Lighting control and Emergency lighting
• Electrical preliminary calculation
• Riser Diagrams
• Single line Diagrams
• Load Calculations
• Design Panel schedule
• Wire sizing & Voltage Drop Calculations
• Electrical Enlarged Room Plans / Sections
• Excellent Electrical knowledge and with expertise to AutoCad and Revit.
