Designed by our super talented team, this Jamaican restaurant is an amazing project with over 6000 Sq. Ft. of the area that consists of two kitchens, two dining areas along with a large open waiting area. Our team has provided the full MEP design for this project. Our team says that they had the best experience designing this restaurant as there were a few challenges to overcome. The restaurant had a pitched roof thus our team designed a truss in the kitchen. The size of the kitchen hood exhaust duct was larger. Hence, the team had to go for higher ducting in a lesser space. The restaurant has been provided with load calculation, ventilation calculation, air balance calculation and DC system design by ISP team. Moreover, if we talk about plumbing design – grease calculation was the major challenge because it needed fixtures and load accordingly. Moreover, keeping NEC standards in mind – our team has done lighting selection, power design according to kitchen equipment, emergency lighting design and egress lighting design along with photometric calculation. We have matched the Luminary as per the NEC code.
